For those of you that weren’t able to make it out to Indy Hostel for the Both Sides Of The Beat Show, I finally uploaded the work onto the site. Five new works were hanging plus two older pieces including s.a.i.n.t. RECON‘s album art ‘Psalm Before The Storm’ and ‘Crystal Caves’. Speaking of s.a.i.n.t. RECON, don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Duo-Release Show featuring Indy’s own s.a.i.n.t. RECON and Brad Real. The show is on Sat. March 6 @ Bently’s. Check out the Duo-Release Show flyer. You will not want to miss this show. Talent will be the name of the game.
I also have six new works hanging in Bootleg Exhibitions right now. The theme of the show is ‘play’ and they is a ton of great work by a ton of creative artists. The show was curated by the very talented Stacey Holloway. You should check out her work and check out this show. Hopefully, there will be a closing reception for the show. If so, I will let you all know.
I know it has been a while since an update. A lot of things have changed for me recently so I am just trying to get acclimated to those changes. As far as my artwork, I have been trying to create as much indoors as possible. Due to my studio being my garage, it’s hard to create in such a cold environment. I am taking this time to reuse as much scrap paper (magazine, postcards, carboard egg cartons, etc.) by making hand-made paper and three dimensional objects. I love discovering new techniques with new materials. That is what keeps me going. I don’t ever want to be a ‘one trick pony’. I think that’s the expression….
When the temperature allows it, I am also in the process of organizing my studio…again. Because I accumulate so many found objects it can get chaotic very easily. I am so many ideas running around in my head that I can’t wait to execute once it warms up. I am also looking forward to creative some more functional art objects. I’ve seen some pretty creative and original furniture pieces and home decor ideas online and it has opened up another venue of expression for me.
Well, that should be all for now. Until next time.

Nathan…thanks for the shout out about the Duo-Release show!
I really like the new pieces “I Like My Music Well Done” and “33 and a Third City”
Nathan,
Thanks so much for shouting out the release show on your blog, man! I really appreciate that!!
Hello, cool site, where did you come up with the info in this summary? Im glad I found it though, I will be checking back soon to see what other blogs you have.
Johnny – I found out about the show because I designed the album art for s.a.i.n.t. RECON and they are friends of mine including Brad Real. They are talented local hip hop artists who are big in the Indy scene. It is hard not to notice what they are doing in this city. They are working hard at what they love just like myself. I hope that helps. If you any more specific questions, feel free to ask. And thanks for the kinds words and checking out the site.
