I have been beating myself up a little bit for neglecting to update the blog recently. It has been six days now….I have to step back and find this hilarious considering with the old site I went on a period of literally not updating the site for months. I mean months, over six months. So if I broke your heart, I’m sorry.

A recent shot of the ‘winter studio’.
I have been busy (aren’t we all) getting smaller works ready for the Art Council of Indianapolis/Be Indypendent Holiday Art Sale. I have finished a lot of work on the 8-track tapes as well as utilizing old frames I have been collecting. The work is definitely going to have a wide spectrum of conceptual and formal elements. My main focus is just creating works that are affordable for everyone. I am still using plenty of collage images but not as much found objects because the majority of them are too big for the scale I am currently working in.

Most of these will be for sale for around $20 at the Artsgarden on Friday Dec. 11. Instead of buying your gifts at Walmart or Target this year, come on down and buy some of my original artwork for around the same price. You would be supporting the local art scene which is always a great thing.

A couple new smaller works with funky frames
Not only am I preparing for the Holiday Art Sale at the Artsgarden but the next day, Saturday Dec. 12 I will be a part of the “Both Sides of the Beat” at Indy Hostile. It will be similar to the event that took place at the Big Car Gallery on Nov. 6. It will be an experimental hiphop show with spoken word and some freestylin’ as well. Some of my work will be hanging during the event. Mark your calendar! Another event you shouldn’t miss. It will be a night full of great talent coming from two different forms of art. More info/details to come in the future. I hope to see you there.

are you going to freestyle on the 12th?
For the sake of everyone, I will not be. But you should come out and see the real talented ones freestyle. Insane. Super talented dudes reside in Indianapolis.
P.S. Thanks for utilizing the comment feature. Drew hooked it up.
Hey. I couldn’t get through to this page the other day. Anyone else had the problem?
Was it just this page or was it the whole website? I don’t know if I had the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience but thanks for looking around.
